EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2026 - The reporting of all non-financed real property transfers is required unless the purchaser is exempt. A non-judicial foreclosure sale is a real property transfer. The trustee must report specific information about the purchaser to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) pursuant to 31 CFR § 1031.320. Due to this requirement, the trustee reserves the right to take all necessary actions to comply with federal law. Failure to provide the information necessary for reporting may result in the rescission of a completed sale or a delay in the issuance of the final trustee's deed until all information is provided.
